Try a 'Blighs' at the Welborough Hotel
When traveling Tasmania it’s always nice to find a gem and this is defiantly one. The Welborough Hotel is a small, independent country hotel in remote North Eastern Tasmania for those who love Tasmanian beers, ciders and softdrinks and locally sourced produce for their fresh approach to pub meals.
If you are after a traditional heritage listed hotel with buckets of charm, in the middle of Tasmanian wilderness, then you’ll probably agree. Established in 1876, the family run Weldborough Hotel and campground offers a real pub experience with a family friendly atmosphere at the gateway to the Blue Tier reserve.
It’s recommended by the Lonely Planet, Tasmania Edition 2012 and is a great place to try a Captain Blighs Cider.
